
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology Centre for e learning was created to reach the busy but education hungry students who are self-motivated to study but don’t want to or can’t attend the tradition classroom session. With e learning now one can study from the office or at home. As simple as that.
Our virtual learning environment is Moodle based which provides 24/7 accessibility to registered students. Moodle is very easy to learn and makes e-learning easy to grasp and students can learn from all over the world.
- formulate, review and mainstream University e‐learning policy;
- establish the standards for the e-Learning platform;
- establish the infrastructural resources required for efficient service delivery;
- consider and recommend e-Learning budget;
- co-ordinate and develop effective e-Learning content;
- identify potential e-Learning resources;
- determine the bandwidth and connectivity requirements for various e-Learning service delivery modes;
- develop appropriate business model for e-Learning services;
- scrutinize any relevant hardware and software license agreements with vendors and service level agreements and advise Management Board and Senate accordingly; and
- Address any other e-Learning strategic and policy matters as may be referred by the Management Board and Senate.

Mode of Delivery
