My Biography

I have long standing teaching experience with several institutions and with outstanding performance in Chemelil Sugar Academy, Kisumu polytechnic and now in JOOUST where I have been appointed a course leader for Community Health and Development programmes, examination and timetabling coordinator, ISO representative and blended learning champion for the school of health sciences. I have seriously embarked on research supervision and currently I am mentoring a number of students in Masterís and Ph.D. programmes. One of my students have graduated, with several others having collected data and written thesis awaiting defense, hopefully by early 2020 they shall have completed. I have attended international conferences and presented papers and published research articles in peer reviewed journals including BMC journal which is one of the most competitive journals as indicated in my CV. Previously, I have been part of a task force that designed ISO management procedures for Chemelil Sugar Company that led it to ISO certification. I have trained as Trainer of Trainers (TOT) and Environmental Manager by Kenya Bureau of Standards. I have also done Management and Leadership course and served as an internal auditor. Currently, I am serving in several leadership positions in the school ranging from being a course leader for Community Health and Development programmes, examination and timetabling coordinator, ISO representative and blended learning champion for the school of health sciences. Above all I am God fearing and value good morals.
