It was pomp and jubilation as Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology shone during this years’ ASK Show. The University scooped an impressive 4 trophies emerging Number 1 in 3 categories and number 2 in another. JOOUST emerged as the Best Stand in Research Development, best Institution of Higher Learning in Development of Advance Technology and the best innovation and Invention stand being the 2nd overall as the best University Stand.

The Cabinet Secretary in charge of Agriculture Willy Bett and Kisumu governor His Excellency, Jack Ranguma visited

the stand and were impressed by the technology and innovation on display at the stand. They enjoyed a taste of the cricket biscuits and lauded the Institution for its excellent display of Community-driven research and outreach activities.

Among the innovation projects on display was the automated security system, the World Bank funded insefood project and the briquette making project.
