JOOUST STUDENT AWARDED FORD FELLOWSHIP

A JOOUST student has been selected to represent Kenya and participate in the Ford Community Impact Fellowship 2019 Summer Class to be held in Dearborn, Michigan, USA from the 16th to the 22nd June 2019. The student, Robert Karuru, pursuing Bachelors of Business Administration with IT (Finance option) has been the Director Finance in the JOOUST Enactus club since 2018 to date.

The fellowship offers students from around the globe an amazing opportunity to bond with other students while making a lasting impact. His travel and accommodation expenses to participate are catered for and he will also receive a $500 gift card upon completion. His selection to participate in this prestigious program was based on the hardwork, dedication and commitment he has put forth in impacting the community and demonstrates that he embodies. Enactus is a nextgen entrepreneurial leader using innovation and business principles to create a better, more sustainable world.  We are honored that he will represent JOOUST, Enactus, Kenya and all 72,000 Enactus students globally.
