THE ETHICS AND ANTI-COORRUPTION COMMISSION (EACC) VISITS JOOUST

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) is one of the lead agencies in the Public Service Performance Contracting Framework. The Commission oversees the implementation of the Corruption Prevention Indicator. In its’ sampled  spot checks,  three officers from the Commision  paid a visit to the  University on Monday 7th October, 2019 to ascertain the accuracy  of our quarterly reporting and  monitor progress made by the University in its  implementation of Performance Contracting  indicators. As part of its corruption prevention mandate, the Commission had a meeting with the Corruption Prevention Committee which is charged with the responsibility of ethics and integrity issues. The Officers  exchaged views on strengthening corruption preventive strategies and structures in the University.

Note the Corruption Prevention Committee consist of top Universty Management and other Heads of Departments.
