The University has conducted an induction for newly employed staff members with an aim to help them acclimatize with the operations within the University. The new staff members were ushered in by a team from the Human Resource and Corporate Communications led by the Registrar Planning and Administration, Dr. Patrick Akhaukwa. 

School of Biological and Physical Sciences, School of Engineering and Technology and School of Agricultural and Food Sciences are some of the new stations for the academic division employees whereas Audit and Finance Departments for the  new staff in administrative division. Notable also are two employees domiciled in JOOUST’s research project; Grassroot Financial Innovations for Inclusive Economic Growth funded by DANIDA. Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), a brand used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark that provides humanitarian aid and development assistance with a keen focus on developing countries.
