The Principal Secretary Ministry of Education, State Department of University Education and Research Amb. Simon Nabukwesi today visited the University on an inspection tour of university projects.

Amb. Nabukhwesi who was on official duty said that he was at the University to assess Government of Kenya funded projects. He however said that he was impressed to also note that the University had adequately prepared for Covid 19 and encouraged the team to continue with the good work.” I would like to commend the University for their effort in the manufacturing of sanitizers, hand wash and disinfectants in the on-going fight against the Covid 19 pandemic.” Said Amb. Nabukwesi.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Stephen Agong’, while welcoming the Principal Secretary thanked the Ministry of Education for the efforts it had taken in providing capitation. “The University will continue collaborating with the Ministry of Education to innovate and find solutions in the fight against Covid 19.” Said Prof Agong’.
