INSEFOODS STRATEGIZES FOR PHASE 11 FUNDING

Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology’s Africa Center of Excellence in Sustainable use of Insects as Food and Feeds (INSEFOODS) has hosted the other two Centers of Excellence from Moi and Egerton Universities for a three-day consultative meeting. The meeting held at JOOUST Kisumu Campus aimed at developing a concept for Phase II impact World Bank funding.

The meeting, chaired by the National ACE 11 Coordinator Mr. Paul Mungai, offered an opportunity for the three centers of excellence to prepare, compile and present a common report of Kenya ACE II projects. This report was presented and deliberated upon by the three Vice Chancellors led by Prof. Stephen Agong’ of JOOUST, Prof. Rose Mwonya of Egerton University and Prof. Isaac Kosgei of Moi University who was represented by his Deputy Prof.  Isaac Kimengi.
