Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology has been rated the best university in advancing gender equity. The University beat other academic giants in gender mainstreaming by scoring an impressive 93 percent.

The University led the university category followed by Moi and Muranga University of Technology.

This follows an evaluation conducted on government ministries, departments and agencies by the State Department for Gender and the National Gender and Equality Commission for the 2020/2021 financial year.
