The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development trained Teacher Educators, Deans of Schools, Directors and Academic staff of JOOUST from various disciplines in the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) between 25th and 28th April 2022.
The Training of Trainers event was graced by Prof. Charles Ong’ondo (CEO and Director KICD) accompanied by Ms. Jackline Onyango (Senior Deputy Director – Curriculum, KICD), Dr. Samuel Obudho (Deputy Director – TVET, KICD) and Mr. Patrick Andika (Head, Consultancy and Resource Mobilization Division, KICD). The JOOUST team was led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stephen G. Agong’ and the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs - Prof. Joseph Bosire.
The training was meant to equip the university academic staff towards the implementation of the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) in the institutions of higher learning.
